Pricing

Challenging financial times continue for individuals, families, organizations, and for EPIC as a non-profit. We’re proud to offer an accessible pricing structure again this year.

When you register, you will choose the fee that is appropriate for you. Your choice is private, and every participant has access to the full program. We ask only that you do your best. We can only offer accessible rates if those who can pay more choose to do so. All prices in US$.

Regular Rate

Choose the regular rate if your registration will be paid or reimbursed in whole or in part by your employer, OR if it is affordable to you.

US$350 members / $500 non-members

Discounted Rates

Choose the discounted rate that you can afford if your registration will NOT be paid or reimbursed in whole or in part by your employer.

US$250 members / $400 non-members
US$200 members / $350 non-members
US$150 members / $300 non-members

Tutorials

Each tutorial is US$100. Pre-registration is required and space is limited (first-come, first served). The tutorials program will be announced when registration opens; they are short (3-hr) courses scheduled during Learning & Networking Week (Oct 11–15) prior to the Main Program (Oct 18–21).

Who can attend EPIC2021?

Anyone can register and attend! EPIC2021 is a virtual, global event with a full program offered in time-zone adjusted schedules. The program will be announced in coming months. Read the Call for Participation for more information.

What is the cancellation policy?

Registration is refundable through August 25 minus a $25 fee. No refund is available after August 25. This policy applies to both main conference registration and tutorial fees.

Where’s the program?

We’ll announce the program in coming months! The conference has two main components: Networking & Learning (Oct 11–15) includes Tutorials (short courses), socials, and networking events designed to help you make meaningful connections in the EPIC community. The Main Program (Oct 18–21) includes Keynotes, Panels, Case Studies, Papers, PechaKucha, interactive and discussion sessions, and social events. I don’t know how I’ll fit this into my schedule. Can I just watch the video another time?

EPIC2021 is designed for live engagement, with flexibility built into the schedule to help you fit sessions into your busy world. In addition to scheduled programming, our interactive platform is a unique 2-week networking opportunity: you can find and connect with other attendees; participate in chats and social events; and visit exhibits.

Even though you’re not traveling, it’s ideal if you can carve some out time away from work to get the most out of the conference…but we know that’s not possible for everyone. We publish most of the main program in our video library, where all EPIC members can watch conferences and talks on demand all year.

How will I access the conference? Are there any special tech requirements?

You’ll need:

  • A standard, up-to-date web browser on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
  • A webcam and mic to participate in interactive sessions.
  • High-speed internet.
